Halloween
Halloween is probably one of the most obvious holidays associated with the changing of the leaves. But, it is often a holiday that is forgotten about until the last minute. It is usually a few days before that everyone starts panicking and wondering what the plan is for Halloween and if there will be any fancy dress parties. Take charge this year and plan a party in advance so that everyone knows where they need to be. The only question remains, will it be a fancy dress party or not.
End of Summer Party
There are always those weeks that have a natural transition feel to them. The weather will be shining, but there is a definite nip in the air. This window of changing climate is a great time to have an end-of-year party. Grab the garden furniture and pour some summer drinks while you wrap up in blankets and toast marshmallows. This is a great way to have a casual party with summer beach vibes, but it also gives you a chance to say goodbye to the summer before the weather changes.

Thanksgiving
If there was a holiday that makes you think about how grateful you should be about your life, it is Thanksgiving. It doesn’t take much to see how this holiday is associated with Fall. Not only is it near the end of the season when everyone has gotten comfortable with the changing leaves, but the decor of the holiday is also orange with pumpkins and turkeys. If you normally do the big family event but don’t feel up to it, you could host your friends instead for something a bit smaller and more casual.
Be With Nature
The changing of the leaves is a sure sign that the weather is about to change, but this shouldn’t be the only way that you get to enjoy the changing face of nature. There are many ways to organize a field trip with your friends that will allow you to enjoy this change together. You could arrange a pumpkin patch day out, or you could go apple picking together. And, if there are apples, there is a good chance that there is cider too. Try to think outside the box and have a day trip together as a way to make memories. Also, later you can bring everyone back to your house to enjoy the things you have gathered.
Holiday Prep Party
This might seem like a strange one but hear us out. During the winter months, there is a lot to do. This can mean a lot of prepping that needs to be done, but why do it alone? Get your friends and family together for an evening and put all of your heads together to get those events sorted. Pick out who is hosting what, who is bringing what food, and everything in between. Prepping parties can be great fun, and they can take out the sting of having to do everything by themselves. Also, getting other people involved means that you have a chance to work out what everyone else is doing and help other people make plans for the holidays instead of leaving it to the last minute.
