Beauty is what you feel about yourself, not about what you see in the mirror. At times we all need a reminder of this! What are habits are you adding to your daily routine to feel & look beautiful?

Beautiful. What does that word mean to you? Beautiful means different things to everyone, and yet we all clamor for the same beauty standards. We all want to be beautiful, and yet we don’t know how to do it. For example, flowers are beautiful, and fairy lights are beautiful - but they embody beauty differently.

Feeling beautiful is going to depend on you. For some women, it’s about wearing the best satin lipstick available here. For others, it’s about walking without hunching their shoulders. Confidence is the preference here, and if you can feel beautiful by wearing hot red lipstick, you should do precisely that. With that in mind, let’s take a look at a few ways you can feel beautiful!

01. Walk Tall

How often do you walk with a stoop? How much pressure are you putting on your back by hunching when you sit? When you choose to walk tall, you choose to look after your posture and feel great inside. Keeping your body straight and watching your posture isn't easy after a lifetime of slumping over, but it’s something that you must-do if you want to walk tall and embody grace and beauty.

02. Manners Cost Nothing

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, someone once said. However, a rude and nasty person can have a physically attractive face and yet not look beautiful. Your manners cost nothing, so if someone compliments you, don't argue. Have some grace, and say thank you. Morph back into a child, and tell them you KNOW you look beautiful. You wouldn't deflect praise as a four-year-old, so don't do it as a grown-up.

03. Halt The Criticism

You are always going to find something you don’t like about yourself. You are the worst critic when it comes to your appearance, but that stops. You may not like something about yourself, but there are a hundred other things that you could fall in love with. Stop telling yourself that you’re not beautiful - you are. You just have to believe it.

04. Admire Yourself

You know you wear that lipstick incredibly well, so start believing it. Find the colors that fit your face, and admire yourself for it. Add eye makeup to make your blue eyes stand out. Don’t listen to the voice in your head that tells you that you don't look good - you do. You just have to believe it. Admiring yourself is crucial to feeling good and loving yourself enough to go the extra mile with your appearance. It’s also okay to take some risks once in a while, whether getting forearm tattoos or styling your hair in a way you’ve always been too scared to do. As long as you believe you look good, others will too!

05. Smile

No one wants to be told to smile, but you will look a million times more beautiful with a sparkle in your eyes and happiness etched into your face. You deserve to be told to smile and look beautiful for it. Don’t hold back on a beaming one, and smile for yourself and not for other people. There is one person you need to impress, and she’s standing in the mirror in front of you.
